Hi! I’m Flossie, thanks so much for finding my page :)
I spend most of my life living out of a backpack, following the sun around the world. I’m lucky enough to have been living in Central America and Mexico for the last 4 years, and before that SE Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
Most summers I spend at home in England, this year I lived out of my van.
My biggest joy in life is to be able to set up office each day in a beautiful random location and do what I love. I work from the beach, hostels, my van, the woods and many lovely cafes.
I adore being outside in nature, and this is where I get most of my inspiration.
Slow Life Design Co. originated from my passion for creativity, nature and travel. Whilst serving as a means for expressing myself and thoughts creatively, I also wanted a way to share my love for travel and the natural world with others. Through my art, I aim to invoke a sense of awe and connection to the world around us, encouraging people to get outside and enjoy all of the beauty the world has to offer.
My brand name reflects my personal commitment to a slower pace of life, where I choose to travel slowly, work intentionally (with projects that align with my passions), and make sure that I have time each day to reflect, go inwards and connect with nature. My art embodies this philosophy, as I seek to promote a simpler, more mindful lifestyle which not only benefits the individual, but also the planet, by reducing the need for endless consumption.
In addition to creating my own art, I derive great joy from developing visual identities for other brands through thoughtful branding and illustration. I am passionate about helping others bring their dream projects to life, and I hope that their enthusiasm for their new project will spread more good energy around the world!
