Slow Life Design Co specializes in retro-inspired branding, illustration, and pattern design for surf and lifestyle brands. About me
Hi! I'm Flossie, the creative behind SLOW LIFE
You can usually find me in a tropical country sat in a café or by the beach with my iPad, drawing away! I adore travel and being nomadic and my work is strongly influenced by my adventures. I have been painting and designing things my whole life, however, I began creating digital art in 2021 in response to always being on the road yet still wanting to be creative and record some scenes from my travels, without all of the extra luggage!
I have always been fascinated by the natural world and how humans are connected to it, so I studied Environmental Science at university to further my understanding. After this, I felt the calling to channel my love for the natural world into a more artistic expression. I wanted my work to serve as a visual celebration of Earth's wonders as I believe in the power of creativity to spark a sense of wonder and therefore stewardship for the natural world.
